Following the sun: how three studios share one request

Every request has a lead designer and a partner in another city. When the lead’s day ends, the partner picks up where they left off, with a short handoff note pinned to the file.
The handoff note
That’s why a request briefed at 18:00 in London can have a first design by the next morning. Nobody works nights; the work just keeps moving between people who are awake.
Handoffs are the risky part. We keep them small: one note, one file, one list of open questions. The lead always makes the final call before anything is delivered.
